In my defence, I have been stupidly busy in work, including time spent in London/Slough/Newbury which thankfully meant flying during the first week in August, and not last week! I think if I’d arrived at the airport and faced the queues that had surfaced because of the new security measures, I’d have just gone home.

I’m thinking that this blog isn’t really doing anything much here, and I’m about as far away from being motivated to write stuff here as you can possibly get. I have blog archives going back to around mid-2003 that cover some major events in my life (some good, some bad), but I’m not convinced that there’s really anything worth keeping beyond a handful of those posts.

So what I might do, is basically start again. Get rid of everything apart from a few select posts, and then take this whole thing a bit more seriously. I have things to say; I have opinions to air on a multitude of subjects.

Question is, can I be arsed?

I’m tired, so I’ll post more about my trip (and some pics hopefully) later.

I’m due an upgrade on my mobile phone account, and I really like the look of this one, although all it says on the Sony-Ericsson site is that it is “coming soon”, but a bit of digging around the net seems to suggest a late June/early July release onto my network. There’s nothing much else out there that I really like the look of at the moment, so I’ll wait until I get back from Canada and see if it has been released.

For the first time in at least six years (it’s been so long I can’t actually remember) I had to visit my doctor. That statement shouldn’t be taken as a testiment to my excellent health, more of my stubborness to just suffer any illness rather than bother my doctor. And I probably wouldn’t have bothered going this time either, only I’d rather not go to Canada in agony (it’s a muscular injury).
