Summertime

THE seasons aren’t terribly well defined in Scotland. When we’re fortunate enough to get a spell of good weather it’s quite a novelty.

Today was day five of a really good spell of very sunny, dry, and hot weather. We’ve just had five really good days in a row. Five.

Over and above that, we’ve had a few good days randomly spread out over the past few weeks (at least three Fridays).

But, according to the weather forecast, it’s to become increasingly cloudy, and some rain will move in. And it’ll become colder again.

Which is typical. I’m off on holiday now for a week.
